Equity Members receive discounted rates for the Club hotel rooms, a discount on all ala carte food & beverage, have voting privileges, and can hold office on the Board of Trustees. There is a monthly capital improvement fund contribution added to each Shoreby Club membership, regardless of classification.

• Individual Equity – Entitled to a return on their Initiation Deposit after resignation in accordance with the Shoreby Club Equity Membership Offering.  Entitled to bestow Legacy Non-Equity Membership to adult children & grandchildren at discounted Initiation Deposit.

 

• Corporate Equity – Every company that has one Equity Membership at full initiation deposit can add up to four additional Corporate Designee Non-Equity Memberships at a reduced initiation. Corporate Memberships can be redesignated to another employee for a nominal transfer fee. Corporate Designee Non-Equity Members are not entitled to vote, hold office or discounted rates.  Corporate Equity and Designee Non-Equity are not able to bestow Legacy Non-Equity Membership or receive a return of Initiation Deposit from the Shoreby Club.

As a Nonequity Member, you and your family have full use of the Shoreby Club's facilities and all Reciprocal Club benefits, but cannot vote, hold office, bestow Legacy, or receive a refund of the Initiation Deposit. There is a monthly capital improvement fund contribution added to each Shoreby Club membership, regardless of classification. 

• Permanent Non-Equity – There are no added benefits at the Non-Equity that are not available at other levels. 

 

• Convertible Non-Equity – Pays a portion of the Individual Equity Membership Initiation Deposit, and then pay the remainder off in 3 years.  Once the 3 years is complete and the full Initiation Deposit has been received, they membership will convert to an Individual Equity Membership and receive all its benefits.

 

• Legacy Non-Equity – Bestowed by an Individual Equity Member parent or grandparent and allows for a discounted Initiation Deposit.  The discount is based on age, 23-29 years old receive a 100% Discount and 30+ years old receives a 50% Discount.

Shoreby Club Reciprocal Agreements

Chagrin Valley Country Club will allow Shoreby Club Members and up to three (3) guests to play golf at Chagrin Valley Country Club three (3) times per season and shall pay guest greens fees plus cart or caddie. Tee times are available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday after 1:30 pm (based on availability). The Shoreby Club Member will also have access to the practice facilities, locker rooms and the Clubhouse for dining before, during, or after, the round.

Lakewood Country Club will allow Shoreby Club Members and up to three (3) guests to play golf at Lakewood Country Club three (3) times per season and shall pay guest greens fees plus cart. Tee times must be scheduled with the Head Golf Professional and are based on availability. Golf Carts are required by all Guests. The Shoreby Club Member will also have access to the practice facilities, locker rooms and the Clubhouse for dining before during or after the round.

Club Walden will allow Shoreby Club Members to play golf at Club Walden three (3) times per season Guest Fees apply. The Shoreby Club Member will have access to the golf course, the driving range, locker, and dining facilities when the Shoreby Club Member is playing golf.

Tee Times are available to Shoreby Club Members as follows:
1. Monday/Tuesday/Saturday/Sunday – after 1:00 pm
2. Wednesday/Thursday – anytime
3. Friday – before 11:00 am and after 1:30 pm
4. Monday tee times are only available May 15th – September 15th and services are limited to golf course and driving range only. (Clubhouse and Golf Shop are not open.)

Spa Walden will allow Shoreby Club Members will receive a 10% discount on services at Spa Walden. The Shoreby Club Member will have access to the locker and dining facilities when the Shoreby Club Member is using Spa Walden.

StoneWater Golf Club will allow Shoreby Club members the ability to make tee times anytime Monday - Thursday and Saturday and Sunday after 12 pm. Shoreby Club members and their guests will pay the "guest of a member" rate - $55 including cart. Shoreby Club members can make tee times at StoneWater one week in advance and will have use of a guest locker and the practice facility only when the Shoreby Club member is playing golf. Dining Room is open to the Public.

The Club at Hillbrook Year round dining privileges based on availability. This is a bottle Club, corkage will be charged accordingly. No pool or Fitness access.

Mentor Harbor Yachting Club: Year round dining privileges based on availability. Limited Guest docking, no pool access.

Cleveland Skating Club: Year round dining privileges based on availability. No pool, Fitness or ice access.

Shaker Heights Country Club: Year round dining privileges based on availability in Courtland Bar, Ross Room or South Porch.

Westwood Country Club: Year round dining privileges based on availability in Alison or Westwood Rooms.
Alison Dress Code: Dress shirts & slacks, jackets recommended but not required. Westwood Room Dress Code: Casual dress.

The following Clubs will allow golf & dining privileges based on availability and only when your reservations are made by Shoreby Club's GM Buddy Kane. No direct calls.
